I like to consider my personal blog to be like a little changing room with a full-length mirror where I can experiment with different styles, which also meant that I never knew what to say when people ask me to describe what my style is.
It’s been a constant adventure –three years ago that changing room was filled with studs and black drapey numbers, two years ago I had lots of floral/girly things… But I’m starting to realise that I’ve always been very drawn to tailored, menswear-inspired pieces, which is where a lot of DAY BIRGER ET MIKKELSEN comes in. This two-tone vest, a slinky number from an ancient collection, is one of my absolute favourite pieces to pair with something very structured – like a patterned blazer, or a pair of tailored trousers.
Three favourite bits? 1) the fact that it buttons up double-breasted, 2) it’s constructed of two different materials, panelled in such an edgy shape, and 3) it has pockets in the sheer fabric section, way to show off your rings!!
