IN(DIA) LOVE

I believe falling in love with a city is just as exciting as falling in love with a person. Your senses become engaged and you simply feel more alive.

The last 2 days I been visiting our suppliers and falling in love with all these beautiful colors, qualities and artworks – So inspiring that all my creative senses immediately comes to live and I have been making more than half of the two collections already.

It’s a little bit overwhelming in such an early stage of my trip because I still have one and a half week of travelling in front of me. But I think its like with love – When you find it you just want more of it.

Arrived – Inspired – Ready for creating…

It was a long flight but I’m finally here. I had to transit in Doha Airport. The waiting time in-between flights is just so boring therefore I perfectly understand the two men in the picture below…

Today is my only day off but I have actually been working. Maybe not in the hard way…But still

First I had a late afternoon brunch with one of our suppliers at a new hip Indian restaurant called On the waterfront. Afterwards back at the hotel I went to the pool and looked in all the fashion magazines I could get. To be updated and inspired.

I saw a picture in Vogue Italia of a girl at the pool in a long dress with a lot of fashion magazines and felt it was a bit funny - See below what I was wearing at the pool while reading all my fashion magazines…

I’ll keep you posted…

Sorry for my absence. Since the Danish Fashion Awards I have been very busy sketching on the next 2 ND DAY collections for Summer Night 2013 and Pre Autumn 2013.

Most of the drawings are now ready and therefore it is time for traveling to India and Hong Kong to place and create the rest of the collections. I’m flying tomorrow and expecting +40 degrees – It’s going to be very hot!

But I really love the heat and all the kind people in India – In fact it is one of my favorite places to visit in the world.

It is such a rich and colorful place and you can find inspiration everywhere you look.

I hope you will fall in love with this beautiful place too. Here is a few snapshots from my previous visits to New Delhi just to give you an idea. I will send you new fresh pictures when I arrive. Take care and see you soon
